To answer that, let me tell you a little story…
Last year, I actually enjoyed the very rare opportunity of threatening a round in the 70’s… I had a 74 heading to the 18th tee, a par 5, and then carded a dreaded 11. it was ugly…I don’t even know what you call that… a quintbogey?.
I have a young family so I only get out for 10-15 rounds a year and can’t practice that much. So the fact that, me, a casual low 90’s player was even threatening a round in the 70’s, was a pretty remarkable feat. A feat that I owe large in part to the medicus.
A one or two minute warm up with my medicus before rounds and at the practice range has helped me groove a repeatable swing over time that legitimately gives me a chance to score low every time I go out now. If I had even a “marginally” better short game, scoring in the 70’s would be a reality for me.
If you love golf, but can only get out a few times a year, practicing with the medicus might at the very least, give you some added confidence when you step up to that first tee!
In the last two years I’ve also been trying out the much talked about stack and tilt swing which has brought even more consistency to my swing by repeating where my club bottoms out so I catch ball first (most of the time that is). It is not surprising that you can find the stack and tilt video series on medicus’ main website because they fit together very well.
I will be contributing info regularly to this site, all focused on how the medicus and stack and tilt can help the average golfer learn to “groove the proper swing.”
If you decide to buy the medicus, or have recently purchased one, please share an opinion. This site is here to give amateurs a forum to share their unique experiences with the medicus. Thanks for visiting!
